Pace Academy, Kolhapur has got sanction by the ministry of social justice and empowerment, Government of India on 13.08.01 vai letter No. p-110313(317) 2001 DP III.
The drug Category during the year is mainly alchogolic. Round about 1622 beneficiaries has got treatment under this scheme. The major sources of refferal are from friends family, Provate Doctors, exaddicts, social workers. Everyday the center is conducting group counselling, individual counselling, family counselling etc. Behaviour therapy and psychiatric treatment is arranged in the center. There are very less number of droop out during this year. The fellow up is taken on monthly, Quarterly, Semester wise and yearly by letter and also home visits and telephone contacts.
